Chairman of the Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL) and the Director of the Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership (IIGL) Mr. Himadrish Suwan on Monday bid farewell to Mr. Ajmal Alimzai, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in India.
Reflecting a personal gesture for the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in India, Mr. Ajmal Alimzai, Chairman Mr. Suwan, wrote “I can say today that we are honoring not only a great cultural ambassador but also an individual with a great human quality, who in different ways and in different areas, have left an unforgettable mark in all of us. It surely will be dull around the diplomatic enclave without you. It wouldn’t be the same here without a diplomat par excellence like you. I will miss you very much and CYL in particular. During the past year, we saw the relationship grow, with CYL counting the Embassy of Afghanistan in India as one of the “valued partners”.
“I am confident about the future of India-Afghanistan bilateral and people to people relations. Blending tradition with modernity and unity with diversity, India, and Afghanistan can show the way forward to the world. I want to thank you for all the work you did in New Delhi in order to develop the relations between our countries and personal relationship in particular.”, added Chairman Suwan.
Further, Mr. Suwan wrote, “There might be a farewell for our days at New Delhi but there can never be a farewell for our long-standing friendship, brotherhood and association.” He wished Mr. Ajmal Alimzai every success, good health, and prayed for even greater successes in the days to come.
