Copyrights for essays, blogs, articles, briefs are retained by the author(s), with first publication rights granted to the publisher i.e. The Policy Chronicle. Authors have rights to archive, reuse, republish, and distribute their own work after publication. The Policy Chronicle (Publisher) is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. By submitting their work, authors shall also permit the publisher to archive the work submitted in databases and index them in categories for future reference and use.
Open-access Policy
We follow an open access mode in digital publishing of the content. This means that our platform provides immediate open access for readers to all articles on The Policy Chronicle’s website. Therefore the readers are allowed to read, download, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts or use them for lawful academic purposes and/or intellectual reading. The operations of the portal is alternatively financed by the Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL) and the Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership (IIGL).
Submission Policy
Submission of an article, essay, brief, blog or research paper implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the authorities responsible where the work was carried out. However, we accept submissions that have previously appeared in social media posts or blogs or posters by the author.
All articles submitted by the authors and contributors undergo a review by the Editorial team for originality and an anti-plagiarism check. For any sources referred and relied on during the research process, we request all authors to use relevant referencing formats/bibliography/footnotes.
